Interco TrXus Mud Terrain

No modification is quite as important as the tires you choose. Without traction, you simply do not move. I looked at several maximum traction tires such as the Super Swamper Bogger and the Super Swamper TSL but they were both a bit more than what my needs called for. While I wanted maximum off road traction, my Jeep is also my daily driver so I needed a tire with good highway manners while still providing excellent off road capability.

Interco filled my needs perfectly in the TrXus Mud terrain. The lugs are closer together giving it a perfect highway ride, while remaining far enough apart to self clean creating a really nice bite into the terrain. The tires come pre-siped giving them a longer tread life and greater traction both on and off road. The sidewall lugs not only add to the aggressive look, they are functional as well in adding extra sidewall protection and an added bite when crawling over rocks. The most surprising aspect of this tire is its highway manners. Riding around in a soft top Jeep is loud enough without adding tire roar. These tires, while providing full mud traction, generate less noise than most any "All Terrain" tire of comparable size.
